Terms and Agreement for Concepts Institute of Advanced Esthetics Thinkific Courses
Please read these terms and agreement carefully before enrolling in any course offered by Concepts Institute of Advanced Esthetics ("the Institute"). By enrolling in our Thinkific courses, you agree to comply with the terms outlined below.
Educational Notice & Participant Responsibility
The educational materials presented in this course by Concepts Institute of Advanced Esthetics (CIAE) and Michele Phelan, LE, RA, CIDESCO are intended for professional learning purposes only. The information, techniques, and protocols demonstrated are provided to support continuing education for licensed skin care professionals.
Completion of this course or receipt of a certificate does not grant a license to practice, nor does it replace any state licensing requirements, medical supervision where applicable, or professional regulations governing esthetic procedures.
Participants are responsible for understanding and following the laws, regulations, and scope of practice within their own state or jurisdiction before performing any procedures on clients. Requirements and permissions for esthetic procedures can vary by location, and it is important that each practitioner practice only within what is legally permitted in their area.
Students are also responsible for maintaining any appropriate professional licensing, certificates, and professional liability insurance prior to performing services on their own clients. Proper client consultation, treatment decisions, and safety practices remain the responsibility of the individual practitioner.
Concepts Institute of Advanced Esthetics and its instructors cannot assume responsibility for how the information presented in this course is applied in practice. By participating in this course, you acknowledge that the application of any techniques learned is done under your own professional judgment and responsibility. You also agree to release and hold harmless Concepts Institute of Advanced Esthetics, Michele Phelan, and affiliated instructors from any claims, liabilities, or damages that may arise from the use or application of the educational material presented in this course.
By continuing with this course, you confirm that you have read and understand this notice and agree to the terms outlined above.
1. Course Enrollment:
a. Only individuals who have registered and paid for a course offered by the Institute are eligible for enrollment.
b. Enrollment is subject to the availability of the course and is confirmed upon successful payment.
2. Certification:
a. Upon completion of the course and meeting the necessary requirements, the enrolled individual will receive a certification from the Institute.
b. The certification will be issued solely to the person named on the course enrollment form.
3. Non-Sharing Policy:
a. The enrolled individual must not share the course material, including text, videos, quizzes, assignments, or any other related content, with others.
b. Sharing the course material with clients, students, or any unauthorized individuals is strictly prohibited.
4. Intellectual Property:
a. All course materials, including but not limited to text, images, videos, graphics, and any other content provided by the Institute, are protected by copyright laws.
b. The enrolled individual acknowledges that all intellectual property rights related to the course material belong exclusively to the Institute.
c. No part of the course material may be reproduced, distributed, or transmitted in any form or by any means without prior written permission from the Institute.
5. Confidentiality:
a. The enrolled individual agrees to keep all course material confidential and not disclose any proprietary information, trade secrets, or other confidential information obtained through the course.
b. Confidential information includes, but is not limited to, techniques, methodologies, business practices, and any other information deemed confidential by the Institute.
6. Non-Transferability:
a. The enrolled individual agrees that the course enrollment and certification received are non-transferable and may not be assigned, sold, or otherwise transferred to any other individual.
b. The certification is exclusively for the personal use and benefit of the enrolled individual.
7. Termination:
a. The Institute reserves the right to terminate an individual's access to the course, without refund, if the terms outlined in this agreement are violated.
b. The Institute may also terminate a course or modify its content and availability at any time without prior notice.
By enrolling in a Thinkific course offered by Concepts Institute of Advanced Esthetics, you affirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions stated above. You further acknowledge that any violation of these terms may result in legal action and the revocation of your certification.
